Removal of barriers on the Dubová watercourse, water body SKV0200, at river km 13.600
Restoring passage for aquatic life while maintaining water supply to the millrace.

The project in preparation on the Dubová watercourse in Pobedim addresses the existing barrier at river km 13.600. Its aim is to remove an obstacle to migration and create a more passable aquatic environment while retaining the function of the adjoining millrace.
A nature-like fish pass
The design proposes a meandering fish pass approximately 144 metres long. A stone bed, flow-deflecting boulders and three resting bays are intended to create varied flow conditions and resting opportunities for migrating fish. The proposal also modifies the existing flow-dividing structure.
Protecting riparian vegetation
The works lie in the protected Dubová riparian habitat. Preparation therefore pays particular attention to trees, limiting bank disturbance, machinery access and reinstatement of affected areas.
Maintaining flow during construction
Construction planning must provide for water to pass through the site during works and retain the necessary flow in both the stream and millrace. The technical solution, permit conditions and financing are being prepared as an interconnected whole.
